Bye Tooth! (extraction journey)

I got this cute little tooth container today!

So it starts when I thought I got oral ulceration due to lack of vitamin c. The thing was I cannot see where it is! I can feel the pain of course. It's somewhere hidden back there.

Then I went to my dentist to see it. And he gave me a nice offer: extraction!

It's been years since my last extraction. I mean around 10 years? 11? Oh my… and this time it's the wisdom tooth!

Well well. The process has finished. And I was so amazed looking at my dear little wisdom tooth.

The nurse noticed me and ask me, " Do you want to carry it home?". Well, my parents used to keep all of my and my brother's extracted teeth, so I felt like doing the same thing.

So that's how I got this cute little thing, to put my dear tooth. Quite adorable, I must say lol

Still I need to warn myself that it's just the beginning of the whole journey. From the x-ray pic, I still need to get rid of the rest of my wisdom teeth. That means another three! Wow. Wow. Wow.

(trying to convince myself It wouldn't be a painful journey)

Small change to make a big difference.

My heart really melted down seeing this in Hong Kong airport last summer.

The stuff itself looks small and doesn't really attract people. Yet it is so interesting and humbly inviting your heart. There were coins and papers that I'd never seen before. People just gave their small changes, regardless where they come from. I wonder whether those people really believe in making a bigger difference.

I personally love its heart-shaped design. It looks like a hand handling it and offer you the chance to donate yours. And the plane-like thingy on bottom, delivers care from people around the world to ones who need.
If you care, indeed you can make a big difference just by a small change :) just believe that you're not alone.

Welcome to Pachinko University! パチンコ大学

In Japan, people place education as the first priority! They even have a university for producing gambling scholars! LOL

These letters literally mean the university of Pachinko (kinda slot machine gambling center)

Boys x Mascara

Again, another "What the xyz?!?!?" series of marketing strategy in Japan. (Btw just in case you don't know what is mascara: Mascara is a kind of cosmetic for giving more volume / length to your eyelash). I am not really sure about this product's target: girls or boys (or even both), but it seems that many of cosmetic products in Japan also let boys be their model (???). Before taking this picture, I've seen boys as models for eyebrows pencils and eyeliner as well :D (Sorry, didn't take any pic :p)

Well, what can I say? Make-up is not only for girls, but that's what I know in entertainment industry. It doesn't really fit in the daily life. Am I wrong? Let me know what's in your mind!

No 4th Floor

4 = Four = 四 = shi, this number is associated to other shi = 死 = death, hence it is also considered as bad luck... Even in a modern building like this. Next time maybe I'll show you no "9" :)

Mentos + Coke ≠ Explosion?

There were many rumors about how dangerous it is to mix coke and mentos. And that is exactly (ok, probably) what make Mentos want to "prove them wrong": by creating cola version mentos.
What can I say, it tastes good. But, might not as refreshing as the original Mentos.

Museum Anak Kolong Tangga

How sad that in past 10 years one traditional play/mainan tradisional has been lost every year.

Recently children choose playstation, computer, whichbis considered as individual activities. While traditional plays are forgotten because it is considered as old fashioned. But actually this play can gain their creativity, including natural science(kipas kincir) can explane about wind energy in science. Also traditional play asked childrrn to play in a group, allow children to communicate with other which this culture is Indonesia culture where people live in one community, gath and socialize.

There's one children traditional play museum in Yogyakarta located in Taman Budaya, named Museum Anak Kolong Tangga. There,we can find many old traditional play. This museum will bring us to our childhood memory by shiwing the traditional toys.
